About

Welcome to Little Piece of Wonder, a space dedicated to deepening our connection with nature.

I’m Emma Coxon, a former city dweller who embraced rural life nearly a decade ago. Now, I live in a thatched cottage in Wiltshire with my husband and daughter, drawing daily inspiration from the natural world.

For 16 years, I’ve worked as a freelance Personal Assistant and Project Manager, supporting a diverse range of clients, from freelance editors to business coaches and creative entrepreneurs. Through my business, Assistant Guru, I’ve provided administrative, project management, and marketing support, helping others thrive. My experience as Food & Living Editor and Social Media Assistant at Psychologies Magazine strengthened my passion for well-being and sustainable living, while co-managing the Real Eco-Awards reinforced my commitment to championing eco-friendly initiatives.

Nature has always been a guiding force in my life and work. More recently, I’ve chosen to focus my time on collaborating with individuals and organisations that share this passion – those dedicated to educating and inspiring others about the wonders of the natural world.

Little Piece of Wonder is a platform for sharing stories, insights, and experiences – both my own and those of my clients – to highlight how nature can transform our lives. Through this website and my Substack newsletter (coming soon), I hope to encourage others to slow down, reconnect with the environment, and embrace a more mindful way of living.

Whether it’s through green sketching, seasonal living, or celebrating artists and creators who draw inspiration from nature, this space is about discovering the magic in the world around us. I invite you to join me in exploring and appreciating the small wonders that make life richer, while finding ways to live more sustainably and joyfully.
