I have been quieter here over the past few years, than I intended.
Little Piece of Wonder drifted into a gentle pause while I stepped fully into a season that needed my attention elsewhere. Time slowed, days softened, and much of my energy went into being present with my daughter. The small routines, the unrepeatable moments, and the quiet work of being a mum.
I love being a mum – my daughter is such a marvel – she amazes me and makes me smile everyday. It has reshaped my sense of what matters, teaching me to notice the ordinary, to move at a child’s pace, and to find wonder in places I might once have walked past. During that time, writing took a back seat as my focus naturally shifted to where it was most needed. Now my daughter is at school, the days have shifted again. There is a little more space. A little more quiet. And with that comes a familiar pull to return to this place, to gather my thoughts and put them down gently, the way I always intended.

Little Piece of Wonder is not about keeping up or filling a schedule. It is about noticing, reflecting, and sharing what feels true in the moment. I am ready to give it my attention again, slowly and with care, alongside this new chapter of motherhood.
Thank you for being here. I am glad to be back.
